Pioneer Foods shameful hygiene LIQUI FRUIT

How despicable. 4 weeks ago, my daughter tried to open a Liqui Fruit 1L. She couldn't so asked me for help. Well thank effing goodness she did. I opened the cap, that was set to expire in Nov 22 and on opening, something strange seemed to be floating. I told the kids something is wrong and to throw it out. They were curious so they poured out the contents and cut the box open.

Inside was what seemed to look like the innards of a small animal. It was hideous. I emailed Liqui Fruit that night - Thursday. I Facebooked Liqui Fruit and Pioneer Foods a day or two later. I got a call the following Tuesday. It was apparently being escalated to the 'red alert' team. Low and behold, I received a call, really quite unperturbed and probably following a script, stating it would be collected that Thursday - a week after the incident.

I insisted that I get feedback as I had seen two similar incidents on their Facebook page - so yes... they know exactly what it was. Nonetheless they committed to giving me feedback.

2 weeks later... ZERO CONTACT.

Another 'class' corporate getting away with unhygienic practises and not taking ANY ACCOUNTABILITY. This is SHAMEFUL, pioneer foods
