fungus infested bread
In the last month in 4 separate occasions have purchased fungus infested dumpy low g.i brown bread and honey and oats from pick and pay.I threw away the first loaf thinking that going back will cost more petrol and waste my time, 2nd purchase I was annoyed, returned and replaced it with another but when I experienced the same with that loaf I was angry at the inconvenience and wished I hadn't thrown away the very 1st loaf. the last loaf I relayed the health consequences to the store manager and further on sent an email to pioneer foods. They called, back and promised that they would conducted an investigation and get back to me in writing in 72 working hours and have not.I further on asked Pick and pay manager why they didn't remove a consumable from their shelved which could lead to such serious health consequences for their customers.I also relayed this to pioneer food.It appears that nobody really cares if their customers are purchasing fungus infested bread as long as they are meeting their targets and getting their money .It's extremely inconvenient waking in the morning preparing breakfast and lunch only to find that your bread in fungus infested prior to expiry date.
