Pinnacle Property Maintenance - DO NOT HIRE THEM!

Pinnacle Property Maintenance came to me via a advertiser selling Alliminium Windows.

The quote to install the windows was too high and so the owner of the company told me that they are overall maintenance suppliers and could not only replaster and paint my current window frames but would also paint my house interior walls and ceilings.

The quote they gave me for this seemed professional enough, the owner friendly and approachable.

I accepted the offer.

Right from the start I noticed the poor quality of work.

Unfortunately I was not always at home to monitor and so only saw the mess after they had left everyday.

What was supposed to be 2 - 3 weeks turned into almost 2 months!

After multiple attempts to get things fixed, everyday, I eventually paid them the rest and let them go before they damaged my house further. Unfortunately I was too afraid to not pay them. Did not want trouble. (They also lost a set of keys which led out to the garden from a room and although he replaced the door lock he did not do so for the security gate and so I had to do that... so at the time it felt unsafe, I just wanted them out of my place.)

They did not finish off the ceiling and floor skirtings properly. Using rough paintbrushes that looked so hard, it looked like they were painting with a stick and not a paint brush. They put too much paint on the brush. They left huge lumps of paint on the walls, forming bubbles that chipped off and they would paint up and down with a roller then use a paint brush to paint sideways just over the skirtings and so you saw the paint direction differences. They allowed paint to drip all over my floors and even my office equipment. They had only 1 cover sheet not big enough to cover everything and men working in other rooms therefore had nothing to cover floors or furniture.

My windows are a mess. They used a water based paint, did not stick to the panels or use painter's tape to outline the windows panels first. The paint dripped all over my walls. They also, and not sure if they did it on purpose because how you miss the window so far out is unbelievable, either tried to dry or splattered semi washed/wet paint brushes across my outer walls to the point that I now need to paint the outside of my house too. Even a wall that has no windows on it!

They were supposed to fix some water damage in a room. Post them leaving I called in another man to fix their mess. He noticed the wall was looking bulged. On tapping the wall that had water damage and that was supposed to be fixed, the paint was hollow and we realised it had to be re-sc****d and replastered/cemented and painted.

Please whatever you do, do not use this company!
