Over charge for "dangerous" work

I gave these guys one star because I feel done in by them. Never allow them to complete a job and then quote you - I unfortunately allowed this and I paid for that mistake. I just get the feeling that they want to make as much as they can out of you. They "serviced" my garage door, by emptying half a can of Q20 on the door and my nicely painted garage walls. I contacted their office and spoke to Lance - who just said that he will chat to the "fitter" (Andrew) that did the job. They charged me R1800.00 for half an hour's work - tensioning the spring - so their rate is way above that of any medical specialist that I've ever been to. The reason Lance gave for the high rate/hour, is because of the danger involved - really Lance? So, use these guys if you feel generous and want to donate money to the greedy.
