!!!!!!!!!UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!

I am currently in the process of emigrating over seas and decided that I needed to trade my vehicle in for a smaller cheaper vehicle, as I had a very high end vehicle and I needed to find something cheaper, as my Brother would be taking over the payment and the vehicle once I had left. So I scouted around and spoke around and found a dealership that was willing to see what kind of deal they could do for me.

I went in and spoke to them and saw the vehicles they had on there showroom floor, I had a specific vehicle I wanted to get. No bare in mind I had a Ford Focus RS mk2 (very rare vehicle), I was owing Allot on the settlement. So my mind was made up and I was looking for a Four Door VW Golf 6 GTI.(wanting to move away from having a two door as I have a little girl of 1.5years old that is with me or my wife in the car daily.) I had told them my predicament and I had pleaded for them to try make a deal on one of their VW GTI’s but every VW that I anted was “SOLD”. Every Monday I went in to see all their new stock(VW's) that was bought during the Week were all “SOLD” and I was not able to get one.

I was then turned to one of the cars that was not even a thought in my mind, as it is a two door sport car(Renault Megane RS), Pretty much like the one I am wanting to trade in. And they tried sweet talking me into taking that said car, But I kept true to my decision as I didn’t want a two door and I am trading in my one of a kind car for my daughter and because I am emigrating. I then asked them to contact me once they find a VW GTI that they can do the deal for me and it was Said that (now all of sudden) no deal can be made for the trade in of my vehicle and a gti. Seeming very disappointed and upset with matter as they were getting my hopes up for almost 3 weeks. I went back to them to see if they had ANY other Vehicle that I could my trade in for. But to my surprise there was NO vehicle but the Renault Megane RS that they could now do a deal for me with.

I then spoke to the Finance manager their to find out all the ins and out and prices and everything on the Megane (even though I told them I did not want to take it). My brother was present everytime I went to them as he knows the company very well. I looked at the deal and was greeted with a very nice monthly installment, and pleaded with them to try get me a VW at the same rate, to which I was turned down again with - No vehicle on this premises can settle your Fords settlement but the Renault.

So I went home very despondent, and spoke to my wife and told her that we would HAVE to go for the said vehicle as there is NO other choice, So I rang them up and asked them to get the contract ready for me. On signing the contract for the said vehicle it had two punched tires which were not fixed and I had to fix them myself, I was promised a spare key as they could not find it and were looking into where it has gone, And I was promised that the service book was in the vehicle at the time. Due to dumb luck I never check if said book was in the glove box, Until a month ago when I started hearing bad sounds, from the engine bay.

Myself and my brother have contacted the dealer that sold me the vehicle about the service book and each time we get told that they are looking into it, Or they will talk to the BOSS and find out what is going on with it and they always promise to phone back within the hour. To this day I have not received a phone call about any of this.

I am so unhappy with this vehicle as I feel it is very unsafe for my child, and my wife. I feel that I was wrong done by due to the fact that I feel they needed to sell that vehicle as it had been sitting there for some time. And I was the sorry sod that fell for the deal.

I would like to know if there is anything I can do? I don’t want the vehicle at all. And I feel they cornered me into that vehicle that i absolutely didn't want... And I have had it for almost 3 months and I too feel unsafe at times in the vehicle.

WHAT CAN I DO?? NO-ONE is getting back to me. I want to just take the car back and tell them to actually make a deal on a different vehicle!!!!!!!!
