Most pathtic service ever

I trust you are well,

I Seek your assistance in having the deal cancelled.

The Vehicle is in possession of the dealer

I received the vehicle (2008 Mini cooper A/T) on the 17th of October 2016,

The vehicle has been sold to me under false pretense, the day that I took delivery of the vehicle I was advised by the salesman

That there were a small issues that has be attended to including the handbrake light…the service light was also on but I was told that

A service was done and that with the vehicle it has to do a certain amount of kilometres in order for the light to turn off.

This was supposed to be done before the vehicle was sold to me and after delivery I was not contacted regarding

the issues that needed to attended to.

After a few days of use I noticed that the vehicle switched off from time to time whilst in motion, then on the 11th of November

Whilst driving to work the vehicle overheated and smoke was disbursed from the hood.

I immediately contacted the dealership and nevertheless they picked up the vehicle. I have still not received feedback regarding the vehicle and when contacting the manager he advised that it was the water pump which is a wear and tear item but I believe that this was also supposed to be replaced before the sale was made.

The vehicle has been at the dealership since then.

I was told by the salesman that my vehicle was ready to be delivered to me yesterday (21/11/2016), however I have received no form of communication from any person at the dealership since the day they picked up the vehicle.

It is difficult to understand how it takes more than a week to replace a water pump which is what I was advised was the fault.

In addition to this I received the car back on the 01/12/2016 due the fact that it was a birthday and the vehicle was purchased as a gift.the day after I received the vehicle I broke down once again but this time there was an oil spilage from the engine compartment.

The car was collected on the 03/12/2016 and a courtesy car was dropped off with an empty tank of petrol, which is unacceptable because the mini cooper had more than half a tank. When I called the sales consultant he said he will get back to me but never did.

On the 1512/2016 after no communication I was emailed stating that the car was repaired and will be ready for delivery.I did advise th dealership that I do not want this vehicle since I only used it for 3 weeks in total and I had broken down on the side of the highway twice.from the 15/12/2016 until now I have not received any response and I am tired of dealing in this manner.I have paid 2 installments that has been in repairs with the dealership for 6 weeks in total and the dealership refuses to assist me in any way except taking the vehicle back and putting my family and others at risk of a breakdown.

I have advised them in writing that I have made an informed decision that I want the deal Cancelled.

The Overall service that was received from them within the past 2 months was absolutely disgusting. From the way they treated me to their lack of customer service is terrible. I hope no one else has to deal with such service.

I am well aware that I am in my rights as a consumer as per CPA as the contract was signed at my residence and not at the dealership

I require your assistance in getting the deal cancelled, and I would not like to deal with Pinetown cars in future.
