Avoid at all costs!

If I could rate zero I would have. Do not go there under any circumstances! It is a physical and health hazard. Almost half the chalets have structurally collapsed and is covered in black plastic sheets. The few standing are mouse/rat infested with droppings all over the kitchen, dirty, torn mattresses, holes in doors and ceilings, roof plates missing an haphazardly covered with whatever was lying around. Clear signs where doors had been broken/forced open. Grounds have not been maintained in years. There was a half naked man ducking and skulking around. It’s simply shocking! How this place is open is completely baffling. We immediately left and I asked for refund. I luckily was refunded the amount paid by card, but I have to apply with the Ceres Municipality for the EFT amount to be refunded. Later learned the place it was used as a Covid isolation camp, was ransacked and never repaired, and simply continued to operate as a ‘resort’. Who knows if it ever was sanitized afterwards. This left us without accommodation for 13 people at 18:00 on a Sat evening. I feel sorry for the receptionists who both were very friendly and tried their best.
