Poor Customer Servicr

I bought a battery from Pillays Motor Spares in Scottburgh on the 1st of April 2021, today the 4th of May my vehicle wouldn't start as the battery was totally flat. My alternator doesn't have a problem. I contacted Keith at Pillays only to find a very rude person on the phone, I explained my problem to him regarding the battery he came with all excuses possible. His response was bring it in so I can test it and perhaps charge it, but please note that I'm doing you a favor. My neighbor assisted to take the battery in for him to look. He was extremely rude to her and told her to tell that women to call him. I called him as I needed my battery sorted asap. He once again reminded me that he was doing me a favor to assist, what happened to my warranty. He flatly refused to change the battery for a replacement as he says my car damaged the battery. My husband went to collect the battery when another customer was also purchasing a battery and he stated that there's only 47 hours guarantee. I honestly think Keith needs to learn some manners on how to treat clients, after all we do keep his business going. I will never go near his spare shop again and would not recommend him to anyone as his very rude and doesn't care if the product is faulty or not.
