Pilansberg Private Game Lodge

Good day. I would like to share our terrible experience at Pilansberg Private Lodge Game Lodge. As we were searching for places to stay for a get a weekend we came across this beautiful place called Pilansberg Private Game Lodge...... We made our booking and paid R6300 per night for 2 nights. What a horrible horrible experience! Upon arrival, there was a board with directions showing Reception ~ with a huge let down there was no reception area and we were welcomed at the dining table. The breakfast was not up to standard and there were not enough food for all the guests. The power was off more than 4 times per day with no generator....... breakfast was late and we could not bath had to wait for the power cause there was no water due to the power not pumping water to the rooms and we could not flush the toilet. On the game drive you have to pay extra to have a drink. At the Lodge there was no snacks given to us at the Patio where we had drinks, we had to ask, only then they served us. The Game Ranger had to serve us our dinner, when we asked where the chef is, the reply from the shareholder was that he does not work that time (20h00). The shareholders and their kids took all the space on the game drive leaving us rather not want to go. This is a huge let down and would not recommend this place to anyone. What you see and what you get, well that speaks for itself. This Lodge is a big no no. My husband still wanted to have a drink on the patio, as we chatted 22h00 lights were switched off and the bar was closed. We were so surprised leaving us speechless.
