Locked in Park for the night????

Saturday 15 August 18h03 Kwa Maritane gate<br> We arrived at the gate 3 minutes late to find the gate locked. The security guard informed us that he did not have a key but will arrange for us to leave the Park.<br> He returned and said the person with the key has already left but will return in 10 minutes. After 30 minutes of no communication we googled telephone numbers but struggled to get hold of anyone. Manyane offered assistance that never realized. After 45 minutes in the dark with a crying 5 year old Sheldon Hin who came back from a game drive let us out.<br> On leaving, the above security guard was about 50 meters away (out of our sight). He never reacted to our calls, hooting and flashing of the cars headlights. A night in the car seemed to be our sentence for being 3 minutes late
