I claimed for my car to be fixed after an accident

I was involved in a car accident where a truck from pickitup bumbed into my car on the back side, the truck driver was wrong and he was supposed to get my car fixed but they never did that, when i called to asked they told me that i was the wrong person therefore they cannot pay me.
