SHOCKING

I had a shocking experience at the ***gly Wiggly Midlands on Sunday 2nd July 2017. I asked the waitress if I could sit outside because i smoke. There was always seating outside for people who smoked. She said that i couldnt smoke outside under the slatted structure. I said to her that that was RIDICULOUS. Then i said to her not a problem and chose the table where I wanted sit. Will the manager not shout across from the other end of the seating area 'Mam you dont have to eat here if you dont like it" I proceeded to the table where the waiter already placed our menus. Still shouting at me that I need to eat there if I didnt like it. My husband lashed out and said to him 'your attitude is shocking" the manager in turn said 'No she has the bad attitude" referring to me. This all happening in front of all the other patrons sitting there having there breakfasts. We turned around to leave, the manager still shouting at us, my husband turned round and called him a ****er. (Not the right thing to do) but now having been provoked my husband lashed out. Will this manager not turn around and provoke my husband even further by telling him to come and say that to his face. This all still playing off in front of all the patrons. In other words he was quite prepared to to have a full on confrontation with my husband. Let me tell you, had my husband not left when he did Im afraid he would have decked that manager. Please pray tell since when do you take on patrons the way he did. The right thing that he needed to do was to take us one side and talk to us like decent people. We ourselves are business people and never have we treated our clients with that kind of disrepsect. In fact quite the opposite. Customers/clients is what makes businesses money and provide employment. I suggest the owner of ***gly Wiggly get rid of that manager ASAP. He is going to wreck that business. Fact, I will never set my feet in that establishment ever again and so will all my friends and family and their friends and family and so it will go on.
