Substandard musical instrument ( double bass)

On inquiring about a double bass ,which I was told was a quality intermediate instrument I went ahead and purchase said instrument, I am in Durban and re**** totally on the professional input from the music shop, On receiving the instrument, I was horrified to find that it was not of the quality one would expect for this price, The interior construction was nothing short of disgusting, On approaching the shop the owners were unsympathetic re my concerns.<br> All I can say to fellow musicians, be aware of an instrument which has not got a recognized brand name and ensure that you personally inspect the construction of the interior of the instrument you would like to purchase.
