After further investigation with regard your Hellopeter complaint we would like to comment as follows :
Our agent does call you and send sms’s, which is in terms of our contractual agreement with our client the Foschini Group, to arrange repayments of your outstanding account. In terms of our contractual agreement we have to contact all debtors in order to make monthly repayment arrangements as well as to follow up on all broken payment arrangements.
In your case you have committed to make a payment on a specific date, which you do not honour, and therefore our system automatically brings your account back into our queues for follow-up, which results in a sms and a phone call being made to you.
We note that you made a commitment to pay on the 4th June 2016 which was not honoured, and thus we had to phone you to follow up on your missed payment. This follow up resulted in your commitment to make a payment on the 9th June 2016.
In order to prevent these sms’s and phone calls, we suggest that you ensure that your agreed repayment date is adhered to or alternatively if you are unable to pay on the agreed date please phone us in order for us to update your payment date.
Yours sincerely
