Loose Nuts
Stay away from Pick a Tyre Elandsfontein!! Took my wife's car there two weeks ago to get the front brake discs skimmed. Wasn't too impressed with how the dis-assembly was happening, but let it go because I understand how tight the *****s on the discs can be. Thereafter I was asked to leave the workshop. Fast forward two weeks later, and I get a call from my wife telling me there is something wrong with the car. It feels like its wobbling, just after she came off the highway. She pulled into a Mintys that happened to be right there and lo and behold ALL the wheel nuts are loose on both front wheels. Like turn by hand loose. Thank g-d they were off the highway already or this could be a much more tragic story! Phoned there today and was politely told , "ya but two weeks ago"...at which point I ****ped all over Rolene, the woman who dealt with me two weeks ago. She apologised and told me the boss would call me. Still waiting...Stay away people!
Although you were told the owner will give you a call, which she did, and explained that she would like to go through the cctv footage and get back to you if you can allow about 1hr to do so, and that you visited the fitment centre 2weeks ago...yes but was not hesitant to assist you. But yet this post was made.
You were asked to leave the workshop and wait in our reception area (you can view exactly what is happening to your vechile from a safe distance) for your safety and the staff working in the workshop.
We then note this as an settled and finalized.
