Rosmead Branch leaves a bit to be desired

Not very impressed with the manager of the Rosmead branch - David. I bought the Klipdrift brandy which was on special of two bottles and 2xcokes for R350, but when I got to the till I was informed the special was over. But I had seen it was on special until the 5th, and today being the 4th, it should still be on special. The cashier even had a photocopy of the specials which showed it was until the 5th. But when I asked to see the store manager, David, he was very abrupt and unpleasant, and insisted that it was only until the 2nd, and asked me to produce the newspaper where I had seen it was the 5th. Obviously I was not going to go home and fetch the paper, and when asked about the photocopy the cashier had, he dismissed this saying it was an error. Luckily, I phoned the Picardi HO where a lovely polite lady called Linda assisted me, and she enlightened David that the special was on until the 5th. But the whole performance took about 20mins to resolve, and I was not happy with Davids arrogant dismissal of my query, and might suggest he needs a quick course on customer relations.
