Stale pancakes

<p>friends from joburg were visiting, we thought we'd have a coffee at the cute Picadilly Cafe at Ballito Junction. </p> <p>We ordered Cappuccinos and Pancakes. </p> <p>Cold Cappuccinos and stale Pancakes with a soft strawberry arrived. Pancakes were dry and flavorless even when smothered in syrup. When we enquired when the pancakes had been made- the manager proudly and defensively announced that they make them first thing every morning not the day before! We were having coffee at 4:30pm. When we said that pancakes should really be prepared fresh, the Manager was not apologetic but very proud that they make them every morning. Not even an offer to come back for fresh ones!! </p> <p>Poor service, poorer attitude and poor food! </p> <p>Shame on you Picadilly Cafe! </p>
