Lack of knowledge about products

I went in to inquire about a new cellphone and I was presented with an AG Mobile. All the salesperson could tell me was that it was a generic of Samsung with the same features but cheaper. I've never heard of this phone before so when I started asking the most basic technical questions this is where the problem occurred. I asked if the operating system was android, and the salesperson didn't know and had to refer to another salesperson. I then asked how much RAM and processing power it had, both of them couldn't answer those questions which are very basic. They referred to a third guy (he seemed to be the guy in charge, I'm not sure) sitting behind a desk and he referred me to a website and said I can find the specs of the phone on there. The reason they couldn't tell me the specs was because they just received the phone. As a customer firstly it's not my job to do the research after visiting the store, and second the staff should know the products they are selling regardless of when they received them, especially if the shop specialises in technological gadgets. I will never visit the store again as they have no clue what they are selling nor do they seem to care
