Pholo Africa Rentals - Extremely Poor Service

Extremely Poor Service !!! I called in for inquiries to rent out an 8 seater vehicle where I specifically requested for a VW Kombi from 28 November - 1 December 2025 whereby I was quoted R3000 Deposit and R2000 per day totalling R9000. I made a security deposir of R3000 on 11 November '25, i received confirmation of my deposit the next day that everything sorted I will be settling the R6000 balance upon vehicle pick-up. On the day of pick-up when I got to the complex at 420B Bushwillow Avenue, Centurion I was only told then that the only available vehicle was a Hyundai H1, not with any other choices I had to accept the vehicle as it was our day to travel to a wedding with my colleagues to Vendha. 1: The vehicle was filthy, simba crips inside the, barely a car wash was done on the vehicle. 2: The rear tyre passenger tyre was flat, I was told to go past the garage to fill it up. 3: There was a tyre at the boot where we are supposed to load our luggage, the tyre didn't have a rim whatsoever. 4: Wipers did not even clean the windscreen properly, as it was a rainy weekend. I stopped by the Engen 1Stop Garage towards Joburg as I had to go pick up my colleagues, the Petrol Attendant checked the tyre and it had multiple punctures, I asked the owner what should I do as patching the tyre would cost me, is he willing to refund me? He told me to let him know when I'm heading out towards N1 to Polokwane and he will send someone to exchange the tyre for me. After picking up my colleagues on our way to the N1 I asked him to send his person to come by the Shell Garage towards Pretoria, we had to wait for another 30 Minutes before his person there, eventually a new tyre was fitted in and we left for Venda. I was advised to return the vehicle on 1st December before 10:00, and it was still raining in Joburg the same Monday and I couldn't get the vehicle to a Car Wash (even when I received it in that filthy condition) as I wanted my deposit refund in full, but I couldn't get to a Car Wash and advised the owner and we agreed that he would deduct R150 from my Deposit which I agreed. Around 09:45 I was i Centurion to fill up the vehicle with Diesel and he kept on calling constantly asking about my whereabouts as another client had to come pickup the vehicle at 10:00, I managed to fillup the vehicle and got to his place at exactly 10:00 and to my surprise he was not even there to receive the vehicle let alone do the inspection on the car, I was advised to hand over the keys to the helper at that unit, no post inspection done or even a signed document upon returning the vehicle. 7 Hours later I was sent a video with a scratch which i did not know about where I was told is a new scratch that I caused on the vehicle, mind you there was no one to do the post inspection and I was hurried to return the vehicle as a new client was coming to rent out the vehicle. I disputed the scratch on the vehicle on the basis that it could have done by the new client and he told me the car never left the premises upon my return of whcih it could be untrue, at this point i was inquiring on the deposit refund I'm supposed to receive. Only on the 08 December after my continous igored text messages thats when he texted me advisising that he was waiting for quotation from his panelbeater, later that evening from the R3000 less R150 (Car Wash) R1400 was deposited into my bank account, no invoice of the scratch on the vehicle or details thereof, not even a phone call to explain anything. My conversations were between myself and Mafuna Jimmy Mohale.
