We sent a Tata Pickup to Phillips Motors for engine overhaul at a cost of approximately R80,000. After they had the vehicle for atleast 2 months we were told the vehicle was fully repaired an we can pick it up. 20 Km out of Lichtenburg the engine blew up apparently the oil cap was missing. Today 6 weeks later we came to pick up the vehicle again. According to them they rebuilt the engine again, This time only 7 Km out of Lichtenburg the vehicle simply cut out and overheated on inspection we found that the radiator was hanging loose. I personally went to speak to the owner who told me it was not thier mistake as they did everything they had to. I insisted it was thier problem and Mr Phillips himself asked me I he throws a stone up in the air and it accidentally fell on my head is he to blame for that?????
