Damaged Breast Pump
I was given an Avent SCF330 as a gift while I was in hospital having a C-Section. Once my baby was born I was provided with a qualified lactation consultant to assist me with both breastfeeding as well as support on pumping breast milk. The new breast pump, purchased from Hillcrest Private Hospital was defective, even under the guidance of a qualified latation consultant and midwife, we could not get the suction to last. The suction would engage perfectly but each time after 4 pumps it would break the vacuum seal and not re-seal again. I still have the proof of purchase, and I would very much appreciate someone from Avent contacting me with a replacement. The purchase was made on Tusday 10 November. The hospital has been most unhelpful and as I am recovering from major surgery and have a newborn baby to care for, I do not have the energy for a fight, I simply want what is fair. I urgently need a pump so that my baby can have some bottles too.
