*****, ********** quality, threatened me, dangerous people to do business with.

Phenocraft - Unit D8, 1 Scale End, Leogem Innovation Worx Midrand were paid on the 31st of October 2022 to reupholster my dining rooms chairs and lounge suite. They advised they had a 14 day turn around and the furniture was delivered to them on this day. On the 05th of November I was advised my furniture was ready and I paid the outstanding balance. Transportation of the furniture was for my own account. Delivery occurred on the 07th of November. One cushion was over-stuffed by 12cm. The ottoman was delivered with no legs and the dining chairs looked like they were done in a children's sewing or creative arts class. I sent pictures on their what's app line and advised I was not happy with the service and that the errors needed to be fixed on their account, including transport. This was agreed and we were advised that someone would come collect the furniture. My husband and I sent numerous what's apps, called numerous times but the chairs were not picked up. My husband had to drive to the store and threaten them with legal action and posting their workmanship on social media only then were the sofas recollected on the 15th November. 10 days after the fact and after receiving full payment but also after numerous lies and promises about when the driver would come recollect the furniture. On the 30th of November I followed up and was advised the chairs would be delivered around 16:00hrs. At 16:50 I tried calling the business line numerous times and the phone was off. I then proceeded to share my account on social media. Only after I posted my complaint on their FB send instagram did I get a response. I was threatened and told if I post the pictures of the chairs, he delivered he would strip the chairs, show people how the chairs came in initially and now refused to pay to have the chairs delivered. I told him numerous times it was my consumer right to complain about his poor service and that he delivered bad workmanship and did not fulfil his obligation and the businesses poor communication had been consistently bad. I consulted my lawyer who advised I could take him to small claims but gave the owner a day to fulfil his end of deal and obligation. I paid a driver to collect my furniture on the 2nd of December #********* Business #Bully Owner #Unproffesional Behavior #Have no Business claiming to sell elegance, quality or sophistication. Based on other comments/complaints below - Now I wait for the foam to disintegrate so I can spend more money to take it to real professionals. Pictures available on social media and will make it my life's mission to inform my fellow South Africans.
