Immediate Cancellation of Vehicle Sale and Refund

<p>Good day To whom it may concern Mercedes Benz C63 AMG VIN no: WDD ********** F924509 Engine no: ********** ********** Mileage: 58000km Year Model: 2012 Colour: White Price: R577 000.00 On the 29th January 2019 I purchased a Mercedes Benz C63 AMG from Pharoah Auto investments car sales on a cash transaction. On the 6th February 2019 I experienced a breakdown with the above mentioned vehicle whereby the vehicle did not want to start. I had the vehicle towed to Mercedes Benz in Witbank (McCarthy Kunene) and the advice that I was given was that there is a problem with the engine and needs to be stripped for a quote but the likeness was the engine has failed. I was furious after paying that sum of money and this to be the result after just 8days only. I immediately contacted Pharoah Auto to inform them of the situation and although I was not happy I agreed to them taking responsibility to rectify this problem. On the 7th February 2019 Pharoah Auto sent a tow truck to fetch the vehicle and return it back to them to have the vehicle assessed for themselves and rectify the problem. I had a very strong conversation with the Manager/ Owner (Scott) about the inconvenience and I was offered a courtesy vehicle which was not suitable for me as I purchased this type of vehicle for specific reasons however I was yet again patient enough. On the 13th February 2019 I received my 1st feedback from Danny informing me that the vehicle is at Mercedes Benz and the diagnosis is that the battery and v belt was the cause of the problem. On the 14th February 2019 I received a call from my Sales Executive (Danny) informing me that my vehicle has been repaired. I arrived at Pharoah Auto , started my vehicle and test drove it with Danny only to find out that there is a strange noise coming from the engine which was agreed by the both of us. Danny advice was to leave the vehicle so it could be take back to be reassessed. Being skeptical I drove the vehicle straight to the nearest Mercedes Benz dealership in Sandton which is a few kilometers away from Pharoah Auto. As Per Mercedes Benz it was the tappets making the noise however the vehicle needs to be stripped in order to establish the actual fault and an estimated cost was about R 35 000.00 which I did not approve. I was told that if I'm to drive the vehicle back to Witbank were I reside I need to drive very slow because the chances are great for the engine to fail (once again the similar report from a 2nd Mercedes Benz Dealership). I immediately informed Pharoah Auto and yet again strongly expressed my frustration , Scott however instead of understanding my frustration texted me by informing me of how ungrateful I was and offered to uplift the deal and have the vehicle resold and that I will be refunded after an investigation takes place and be concluded. 1. I would like to question the integrity and sincerity of Pharoah Auto. 2. What checks are done on vehicles before it is sold to a customer. 3.
