Exhuasted client
They sold me a faulty car in September they told me to take it to the ne****t Mercedes Benz dealership which is Polokwane. The dealership gave a quote of what is wrong with the car it seems they didnt want to pay for the work to be done. they then took the car i still do not have the car that im paying for next week will be the 3rd month without this car. They all giving me the run around no one is able to give me an ETA of when im getting my car back. They rented me a toyota corolla imagine while im paying them for a mercedes GLE. No one even has the decency to contact me and give me feedback im the one following up like im in the wrong which makes me feel like they knew they were selling me a faulty car.

17 Dec 2024, 13:49Dear Ms. Phooko,
We would like to sincerely apologize once again for the inconvenience you have experienced. Please rest assured that we are actively addressing the matter and doing everything within our means to resolve it as swiftly as possible.
Here are the details of the situation thus far:• You took delivery of the vehicle toward the end of September (from the 26th).• During your trip to Polokwane, you reported to Sipho that the vehicle began smoking.• We advised you to take the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz Polokwane for diagnosis.• The fault was diagnosed, and we received an initial repair quote of approximately R243,000.• In an effort to assist further, I engaged with Marco from Mercedes-Benz Sandton, who suggested bringing the vehicle to their branch to explore the possibility of a goodwill claim since the vehicle was just out of Motorplan.• To minimize your inconvenience during this period, we hired a temporary vehicle (Toyota Corolla from Pace) for you to use while the repairs were pending.• Mercedes-Benz Sandton received the vehicle, performed their diagnosis, and submitted their findings to Mercedes-Benz South Africa (MBSA). Unfortunately, the goodwill claim was rejected.• Following this, we received a revised repair quote of approximately R100,000 from Mercedes-Benz Sandton. We approved the repairs to proceed.• Some of the required parts for the repair are on back order from Mercedes-Benz Germany, with an estimated arrival date of early January 2025.• As a gesture of goodwill, Mercedes-Benz South Africa has provided you with a loan vehicle—a GLB—while awaiting the completion of the repairs.
Please be assured that we are in constant communication with Mercedes-Benz Sandton and follow up daily for updates. They are also directly in touch with you to provide feedback and progress reports on the repair process.
Once again, we deeply regret the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve this matter. Please feel free to reach out to us at any time should you need further assistance or clarification.
Best wishes,
