Defective Windshield - no responsibility taken
Bought a Discovery 4 from them in August 2015. In December 2015 with the first rain, noticed that the front windshield was leaking water. Contacted the dealership, but they were closing and we were heading off on holiday. <br> On the return from holiday, was away for work in Africa and thus also did not have the opportunity to return the vehicle. <br> In February 2016 - took the vehicle in to have the windshield repaired - post another rain episode. The media display had also stopped working due most likely to water damage from the leak.<br> They replaced the wind shield but refused to fix the media display unit. <br> The company advertises that they are different to other dealers - however - they are pretty much the same as any other retarded, second had car dealership. Avoid them and their lies - rather go to a reputable company with actual after sales support.

Your complaint re your Land Rover Discovery 4 purchased August 2015 refers.
In December 2015 you reported that the windscreen was leaking and that the media interface would not switch off - you were concerned that it would drain the battery.
Without hesitation we suggested that you bring the car in so that the windscreen could be repaired and advised you to disconnect the battery, to avoid over use, which you did.
The following day you decided to delay the repair to the windscreen until early January for the reasons mentioned in your complaint , and confirmed that the vehicle would be parked in a garage for the period that you were away. You said that the radio was working again.
On 19 February 2016, you called again to say that the windscreen was leaking after more rain, and that the media interface was not working at all.
The windscreen was repaired on 22 February however, we advised that we were not prepared to repair the media - interface, as an early repair to the windscreen may have prevented the subsequent damage.
