Damaged Windscreen
I Bought a BMW X5 from them, everything was going great up until they delivered the vehicle to me. The car had multiple small dents on the windscreen, that i only noticed the day after they had delivered the car.
Initially they agreed to get quotes for the replacement of the windscreen, when they discovered that they had to cough up R9k fo the replacement, they flat out refused to cover the cost and now claim tht the windscreen could have been damaged after they delivered the vehicle.
Had this been the case I would have just replaced this myself and not bothered them. Its extremely dissapointing that things have turned out this way. I have even sent them pictures of the multiple cracks on the windscreen, I have barely had the car fo a month and live in an urban area with tarred roads, theres just no way in hell that I could have accumalated all those cracks in such a short space of time. The reputation of 2nd hand car dealers has unfortunately proved itself true in this case.
I will be replacing the windscreen myself now, But I want other prospective buyers to be aware of the possible treatment that awaits them from Pharoah Auto. A bunch and elegent ******.
I am disappointed and disgusted with them, utterly appaulling that you can treat a customer this way.
Dear Mdu,
Your complaint has been noted.
On 24 October we drove your vehicle to Harrismith to save you travelling all the way to Johannesburg.
You duly took delivery of the vehicle around 12h00 and drove the car home to Durban.
You only contacted the dealership on the 31 October to raise concerns about the windscreen.
As no defects were found at the time of delivery, we confirm again, that there is no recourse against Pharoah Auto Investments.
Kind regards,
Sylvia
