Car with Engine problems
I traded my previous car and bought an AUDI S7 on the 28th Dec 2017 with + - 49000 km on clock at Pharoah Investment Cars, hardly a month after taking delivery of the vehicle my nightmares started, the car started giving me endless problems and I had to take it to the Audi Service Centre as it was still under motor plan. One thing Audi refused to fix was the seat belt as it was no longer returning back when pulled (they reported that the wiring mechanism has been removed and it had been tempered with therefore it is not covered by the Plan)
The car currently sitting at + - 57 000 km and has been to AUDI for Repaired 7 - 8 times for repairs. Every time it took Audi an average of 6 weeks to fix the vehicle and during this time I needed to find alternative transport or hire a car. When one thing is fixed I drive it for 3 to 4 weeks and something new happens and it had to be taken back there.
Among other things the car has: • Over heated • Passenger seat-belt no longer working • Mixed water and oil • Loss of power • Stopped and had to be towed in numerous occasion • And currently turbo’s needs to be replaced
On its 3rd repair, I reported the matter to Pharoah investment cars and provided them with proof of what the car was doing, they promised to look the matter and I kept on following up with them but they were not able to assist me. second attempt was on the 5th repair; I sent the dealership an email and no one even bothered to respond.
The cars is now out of Motor plan and my most recent experience was few weeks ago, I collected the car after it was there for 6 - 7 weeks (I had to pay in an extra 6,5k as the extended warranty did not cover everything and additional 2.3k to buy a new battery as my battery was now dead) but had to take the car back 4 days after as it is now showing the engine light and has no power. After diagnosing it Audi Service centre is telling me that the Turbos needs to be replaced and I need to pay 138k for the repairs. The warranty which I took when I bought the vehicle also refuses to pay for fixing the vehicle.
What’s more painful that I am paying almost 15K monthly installments on the car that I am not even driving, I have never driven this car for more than a month without any problems and I bought the car from Pharoah Investment cars because I believed that they sell good quality cars but they have failed me. What is frustrating me more is that I cannot even trade the vehicle in its current condition, I am now left with a car that I am not driving and more than 700k debt still to pay. I regret making a decision to buy a car at this dealership.
