Bad Business
I bought a car at Pharaoh Auto, and I traded my vehicle which was in excellent condition. The Friday I went to fetch the vehicle, I told them I'llfetch the vehicle the next day as I was busy. I was told by the dealer that they will wait for me, I told them I can only be free around 19:00pm and they said its fine, I took delivery at night, vehicle was dirty, no wheel caps on rims, I couldn't pick up other issues as it was dark and late in the evening. I then discovered more fault the next day with the vehicle. Ball joints were damaged, airbag light on, paint work shocking. I then sent an email to the dealer complaining about these defects. I had to bring car back. When I raise these issues, I was offered R10 000 by the dealer as compensation & I will have to sort the issues myself of which I turned that down as I want fair deal. When the car got back, it had same defect, of which I told them. Now I've been told that the repairs must come from my own warranty and that there's nothing they can do with the defects on the vehicle. This is a typical example of consumer being il-treated and misled by the so called dealer group that sells quality pre-owned vehicles<br>

At the outset we would like to state that your comments are a gross misrepresentation of the facts, of the negotiations and the repairs which were carried out on the vehicle.
You also failed to mention that we offered you a substitution transaction earlier this month, which was declined by the relevant financial institutions for reasons explained to you at the time .
At all times Pharoah Auto Investments has acted within the parameters of fairness and with good customer relations at heart.
We feel that we have done everything possible to assist you within reason, and are not prepared to enter into further deliberations on the matter.
