Walks off with our Money and leaves a nightmare

Piet Pieterse on 2 August 2014 admitted after an almost 12 week delay on work he had overdrawn a large sum on the project and could not continue with our building as P&G Dynamic Building Solutions (NBHSC registered) . His partner Gert Botha who also held a large deposit to rebuild our roof in his other company GJ Botha Roof Construction, offered to make good to avoid litigation. The very Monday after agreement for him to complete the project Botha demanded further cash payment. Progress was extremely slow thereafter with continuous demands on short notice to advance more money which we met always. We eventually had to pay suppliers directly to ensure material delivery to effect some progress, eventually we had no alternative but to take over our own project with his subcontractor since there was no further progress, material or supervision at all. Slow Work on the roof also came to a halt and was left in the rain during November and December. We have offered full and final settlement of all disputes if Botha merely provided us with statements/invoices for all monies paid into the accounts of his two companies as we are required to have. Botha has become abusive.
