Why should i pay?

I got a tracking device installed with PFK Autowach on my vehicle. I have been paying monthly fees as agreed. I now got the vehicle sold.<br> <br> I phoned them to tell them that my vehicle has been sold meaning I no longer require the tracking service. What got us together in contract is no more.<br> <br> To my surprise I am being told that the contract lasts for 48 months which means penalties for me or else I should get my buyer to take over the contract. Only now I am being told about the 48 months contract, all I knew is that I'd require their tracking service for as long as i have the vehicle but then its no more.<br> <br> They refuse to take their device and wants me to pay a settlement fee of R3000 but my monthly premium is R95. How is that even possible if I never knew about the 48 months contract? Or is this their way of making money.<br> <br> I was informing them to stop debiting my account as I no longer have the car they tell me to pay R3000. Ridiculous.
