Paying out of service tracking device

I was involved in a car accident on the 29th of December and my car was declared write off. I called in PFK to let them know of the situation and i want to cancel the device because it is no longer of use. I was told that I have told that I will not be able to do so because the contract is for 48 months. I called in CPT branch and explained my situation. I am not cancelling the product because I am moving to the other company but I am cancelling because I have no car to put it on and I do not even know the s**** yard where the car has been stored. I suggested that they hold the payments till I get the other car and that was not taken into account. I have requested a recording where the lady that sold me the tracking device explained 48 months and nothing is promising. I cannot be held liable for something that is not of good use. I am tired of paying every month.
