Don't take your pets to petworld!

(I'm posting this to every review website I can find, hoping to persuade anyone from bringing their pets to petworld)

Absolutely disappointed! We took our 14-16 year old husky crossbreed to petworld to have him groomed and his nails cut, and when we went to collect him, he could barely walk! It's been 3 days and he's still having trouble standing up and walking and howls when he tries to lie down, How can a place that claims to have "expert advice, and top-notch service" groom a old dog with such a lack of care?

"PROFESIONAL GROOMING for dogs, cats, and rabbits, focusing on their WELL-BEING. Trust our skilled groomers to pamper your pets in a STRESS-FREE ENVIRONMENT" complete bs, all of it, thanks @Petworld for "bring out the best in your pet", yet another pet being ****** from my family by negligent idiots without a care in the world for animals.

 Dear Rinalette and Francois,

I don’t quite know how to put into words how deeply saddened I was to read your message about Jeff. My heart aches for you. I can only imagine how distressing this must be—to take him in for what should have been a routine, gentle grooming, only to find him struggling afterwards. It’s heartbreaking, and I am so, so sorry that this has happened.

Your love for Jeff comes through so clearly in everything you’ve written. He is not just a pet—he is family. And when a beloved family member is in pain, it is devastating. Please know that I take this incredibly seriously. As soon as I read your words, I launched a full investigation. I am speaking with the store team, human resources, and senior management to understand exactly what happened. I will be reviewing the full video footage, every moment of his time with us, so that I can see with my own eyes where things may have gone wrong. I need to understand this fully, and I won’t stop until I do.

But more than anything, I want to hear from you. How is Jeff today? I have also sent you an email so that we can continue this conversation directly. I would be really grateful if you would write to me there—I want to make sure that you feel truly heard and that we can speak about everything you've raised.

Please know that this is not something I take lightly. I am committed to understanding what happened, fully and completely. I hope to hear from you soon.

With warm and sincere regards,
