Dotsure Pet Insurance

I took out pet insurance two years ago from dotsure for my two dogs. The first time I claimed was 16 March 2022. My Vet bill came to R3800 of which Dotsure only paid R1500. I must say I was extremely disappointed that even though I had pet insurance I still had to pay more than half of the Vet bill out of my own pocket. The claim process was quick and easy but the problem is that the limits are far less than what the Vets charge. My dog had a ear infection and her ear had to be cleaned under anesthesia when the Vet discovered that she had a growth on her ear that had to be removed. Im not a Vet but that sounds like surgery but nothing was paid under the surgery benefit on my claim.
