Dog's Life INFERIOR quality Pet Products - Don't waste your money I recently purchased a Dog's Life Solaris Toy at the PetMax store in Kyalami. I paid the going rate for a chew toy that you insert treats into to amuse your Dog. I gave this toy to my dog one morning filled with goodies and returned 4 hours later to find the toy completely destroyed and in pieces. The branding promises a "durable" BPA plastic. Huh! I have had toys from many competing brands, including Kong and Rogz and never had a toy go so quickly. The Kong and Rogz chew toys last my dog at least 6months to a year! At least!!! I contacted Dog's Life to inform them of the poor quality. I was told to take the toy to my local stockist. The rep went past inspected the toy and very proudly informed the supplier that it is perfectly acceptable that the toy last "anywhere from 30min to three days" Wow, really? My dog spends longer chewing through his Dentisticks at a fraction of the cost. What a remarkable product! Dog's Life are obviously so enthused about this too. Obviously, they are hoping people won't cotton on and keep coming back to buy more disposable chew toys, and the same price that you can get something that actually lasts from their competitors. They obviously peg their consumers as a very unintelligent target market... I then phoned the rep to ask if she thought it was acceptable and would she buy a toy that only lasted a morning, to which she rep**** stuttering, "um, like, well no, but I guess I'll ask my manager" I then received a mail once again very triumphantly stating they would not replace or refund me for the toy. I also received not feedback, I happened to be at my supplier which is my vet for something else and asked whether the rep from Dog's Life had stopped... Otherwise I would've have heard back. Bottom-line, BIGGEST amount of JUNK! DO NOT BUY!!! You will be disappointed in the quality. Stick with the winning brands...
