Water Damaged Caused By a Leaking Trailer

Peter's Mini Removals were responsible for transporting my furniture from Benoni Gauteng to Herm**** in the Western Cape.<br> However on the day they delivered my furniture to me at my new residence in Herm**** i noticed that lots of my wooden furniture were damaged by water.<br> Water was still dripping of my furniture.<br> I then asked the driver and crew what happened?<br> One of them then showed me a leakage in the roof and sidewall of the trailer and said that when it was raining on route to me water came threw the leak.<br> <br> I then took photos and reported it to the company (Peter's Mini Removals)<br> <br> they however rep**** and said they are only prepared to offer me R900-00 for my damage because i did not take out insurance threw them.<br> <br> This is actually an insult because my damages comes to more then R12000-00.<br> <br> I mean this is a leakage in their trailer and threw negligence on maintenance on their side i have lots of damages.<br> <br> Really Bad Customer Service
