1960 Display Cabinet - Badly damaged

I requested 5 different quotes from removal companies to bring a very well looked after display unit up from Cape Town to JHB. My mother in law signed off the unit and no damages were noted as it WAS in good condition considering its age. It arrived a week later at our place with its back leg broken, front curved glass broken and it has been badly chipped and damaged. My husband actually had tears in his eyes when he realised how badly it had been damaged. Imagine my horror as it has been in his family for a very ling time. They had the audacity to drop off the broken glass, leg etc with no shame for the damage what so ever. When I called Peter I was told that the leg was already damaged and he could not understand how it got damaged. It was lying on its back in a van upon arrival. Really??? I am going to get a quote to have that cabinet repaired and I expect peter to cover the repair costs. Will never use these guys again!!
