Sick animals being sold

Yesterday I purchased a hand reared baby lovebird from your pet masters store in boksburg. I was given a sick baby bird little to my knowledge. When I got to the counter I had to tell your staff what the baby bird needed as they didn't bring all the essentials to the till. I was told oh sorry yes they do need that. They don't educate your customers on how hand reared baby birds should be fed either,anyone could just come into the store and not have any knowledge of how to take care of a hand reared bird and you would just sell it to them..... Lucky for you guys I have experience with hand reared birds and I was clued up on how to do this. On my arrival at home I had the cage nicely set up for the baby, I placed it's water and food in the cage and the sawdust to keep the little one warm which wasn't offered to me at the store as I had to recommend they sell that along with the babies.... I went out to the shop and two hours later this baby was almost dead.. My sister and I sat for an hour trying to revive this baby but unfortunately didn't make it. My heart is absolutely broken. How can you sell sick animals to people!! This is disgusting.
