Outsurance pet insurance - Laborious, senseless claims process and procedures

The claims process for the pet insurance is ridiculous. Before they will reimburse your claim you have to get the Veterinary practice / Vet to complete a lengthy claim form, which includes the animal's medical history. Surely they do have the medical history on record. You also need to submit a receipt, showing that you paid the bill. Why? they pay me and I pay the Vet. If I have the bill and my animals, surely I paid the bill. I was previously (for many years) with Medipet, their claims process was much simpler
