Don't get these rats to exterminate a rat pest

I contacted Pest control Western Cape regarding assistance with some rats in my ceiling. They sent a guy the next day, charged me R900 for placing 2 tiny bait boxes in the roof and left saying that the rats should be gone in 2 days, but max 5. The problem got way worse instead of improving and I contacted them 5 days later, only to be told that they have no technicians available until the Monday (i.e. 10 days after placing the bait). So, they are quick to send a technician when it's new business, but are not available when you need after sales assistance! And if they have to come and check whether there is something wrong with the bait they want to charge you another R350 plus R900 to place more/different bait! I eventually got some bait from hardware stores - 5 boxes for R200, which resolved the issue. These people are more like rats than the actual rats I had in my ceiling!
