Never use this company

I had this company quote on the installation of my pergola on the 19th Oct. Jan then called me daily for the deposit which was R23 260 out of total price of R29760 which I then paid on the 26th Oct. I booked the installation for 9 Nov and put in the weeks leave to oversee the work. They delayed the installation to 11 Nov and arrived midday and completed basic structure. I paid them another R3250 (their invoice terms). 12-13 Nov minimal work done on the installation due to them cutting the slats the wrong size. This design has very few slats as it should have polycarb roofing. They arrive the afternoon of the 16 Nov and install last remaining slats (less then 2 hrs job but not without an attitude problem). To date the work is still not complete. I was told because of rain. The promised to be out the first day of sunshine to install the polycarb. Wed, Thurs, Fri (all sunny - no sign of Pergola Depot). The people in this company are rude, arrogant and full of excuses. After I shouted over the phone this morning they say they can only come out on Monday 23 Nov. It was my worst mistake using them. Check them out Houzz, Not sure where they get these sterling reviews from.
