Perfor Group - Zweli Mabaso is a *******

On the 24th September I paid a deposit of R19,000 for kitchen built in cupboards to Zwelithini Mabaso, owner of Perfor Construction also known as Perfor Group (***). The terms were that installation would be done in 3 weeks. On the 6th of October he asked me for an additional R5,000 saying that the material cost more. I told him I would only have the money on the 15th October. He sent me a reminder on the 17th and I paid the R5,000 the next day. When I asked him to send me pictures of the material he bought he said he would see me on Saturday 24th, he never showed up. When I called him first he asked that I call after 10 min then when I called his phone was off. Then he messaged me saying he would see me on Monday 26th to bring samples of the material and he never showed up. On 12th November he messaged me before 9 am saying he was running late but was on his way. My husband waited the whole day and he never showed up. Since then he is not taking my calls and is not responding to my messages. I heard he got a tender in Ixopo and he must be taking other people’s money there as well. If he can’t do the job he must just pay back my R24,000. His number is *** and goes by the name Zweli. I warn everybody out there as much as I know him he cannot be trusted!!! I can no longer trust our own small business people and will from now on use big business.
