RUDE, CRUDE OWNER OF PERFECTLY PAMPERED, PLUMSTEAD

Booked a pedicure on 18/10/2024, with the owner, Bev. Firstly she somehow managed to mess up my appointment time, instead of 12, she booked it for 1pm, and after waiting for the salon to open, the reception she me gave me was not welcoming at all. (After waiting in my car for such a long time, I decided to stay for my treatment even though I felt too embarrassed to cause a scene.) The the******, really lovely girl, name of a flower, Violet, I think, attended to me, and left the treatment room for few minutes to fetch a nail colour chart. While she was out of the room, I picked up the emery board and used it on my foot. Bev, the owner, happened to see me do this, and immediately, said: "Why are you doing that? Our the******s are trained and professional. We dont want our clients doing that to their feet". Feeling embarrassed and taken aback, I said that I just wanted it done the way I like it. She proceeded to say "When you go to a steak house, you dont cook your own steak, do you?" Well, needless to say I was flummoxed and embarrassed, as I've NEVER been spoken to this way, by anyone, let alone the owner of the business. I told her that she is bullying me, and she said "No, I'm not!" and left the room. I was speechless. The the****** returned to the room, most embarrassed, and apologised profusely to me for the way I was spoken to. I thanked her for her good customer bedside manner and professionalism, apologised to her for the situation, and told her I will NEVER return to the establishment, and walked out of the building. WARNING TO CUSTOMERS : BEV IS RUDE, BOSSY AND BEHAVES TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATELY TOWARDS HER CUSTOMERS. I WOULD NEVER WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH PERFECTLY PAMPERED AGAIN! NB> It took me a while to write this review, because of my friends and family who encouraged me to do something about, so that it does not happen to others.
