Not honouring quotation

I walked into the store and asked for a recommendation as the nail product the same store had app**** on a previous visit had delaminated from the tip - I have frequented this store on numerous occasions before and not had this particular problem - so I was unhappy with the result. Based on the discussions I had with Dimpho - she made a recommedation which I accepted and made an appointment. I asked what this would cost me and I was quoted a figure. Two days later - on the day of the appointment - I am charged more than I was quoted and when I query this I am told by Dimpho that she did not include the additional step - which was discussed two days earlier - in the quote. I told her that that was unacceptable as I had asked what her recommendation would cost me so why not disclose the full cost up front. She said that that is what it cost and that I must have misunderstood. I do not consider myself feeble of mind and I do not believe that I misunderstood and I am unhappy with a person making a recommendation and then not disclosing the correct cost when asked what it is going to cost!
