Perdeberg Isuzu Vredenburg

We purchased a Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCI XLS 4.4 from Perdeberg Isuzu Vredenburg in August 2021. On receiving the bakkie we told the salesman Marcel that there is a vibration on the bakkie. (He also told them not to spend too much as we had taken out extended warranty and should claim from that) He told us to take the bakkie to Isuzu in Swellendam. We took the bakkie to them and the DP told us they will be taking the bakkie to Rola Ford in Swellendam. They had the bakkie for almost a week. After returning the bakkie we used it in and around Heidelberg and on the 12 August 2022, the bakkie started making a noise and vibrating. We phoned the insurance and they said we must take it to an accredited dealer and they suggested we take it to Rola Ford in Riversdale. After leaving the bakkie with them it took a week before they attended to the bakkie, and they gave us a quote for a torque converter of R 30799. They told us the bakkie did not have the original engine in and were missing a lot of bolts, nuts etc? We immediately phoned Perdeberg Isuzu to query this? They passed it on from one to another and eventually we spoke to the DP Henry, and he wanted to know why we waited so long before reporting the problem? We though the problem were solved after receiving it from Rola Ford Swellendam and we are not technical to know if both Isuzu and Rola Ford Swellendam **** to us? Rola Ford Riversdale them fitted the torque converted and told us the gearbox is leaking and noisy. We had to pay R 6799 from our pocket as the warranty only paid R 24000 as Rola Ford Riverdale charges exorbitant costs. The extended insurance will not be paying any further amount as they have already paid the R 24000. The repair of the gearbox is for our own account and i feel that Perdeberg Isuzu Vredenburg were not truthful with us and if we knew that the bakkie had a different engine in, we would not have purchased the bakkie as it would only be problems? The bakkie only did about 10000 km and we have been without a vehicle for 4 weeks losing work as we have to ask others to help us with deliveries, collections and stock. Rola Ford Riversdale will be sending the gearbox to Cape Town as the Service Advisor told us they have no technical knowledge of automatic gearboxes. In the meantime, we have no transport and Perdeberg Izusu Vredenburg is not giving us straight answers and actually avoiding our calls and messages.
