Worst place ever. This manager should be fired

Saturday 01/06/2024 I bought a mobicell F40 at pep stores eersterust, Pretoria. Firstly there was 1 lady assisting just before closing time and there was more than 5 people waiting to be helped, so she did the payment and asked if we could wait on the side while she helped others. She helped others while switching on the phone etc. So nothing was explained to us. Another lady eventually came strolling out from the back and gave us the phone. I got home, put the phone on charge, it charged very very slow, the phone wasn't half way full the battery and the charging head started getting hot. I then took it off charge. Sunday I was unable to return to the store because I had plans. monday morning I decided to charge the phone again same thing happened again, took it off charge, switched it on and i put it on charge again just to see. Still overheated and lines appeared on the side. And this Infront of two other people who also said I should take it back.

Monday afternoon I went back to the store. 1st nthabi the store manager made me wait for almost 45min, eventually she came laughing out from the back while I was made to believe that she was helping a customer. She eventually came to "help", I explained the situation, she then said that she cannot help with the exchange because she needs to 1 "examine" the phone and if it doesn't happen she WONT help. She then called me dishonest and there's witnesses to this and not long after that the police showed up. So now I'm dishonest and a ******** ( the police gets called up for ********s from my understanding) we had a back and forth argument but she still refused.

I left because after the police showed up, her attitude got worse walking around the store making jokes with the staff about me. Tues morning I went back and she called a superior who then also according to her said that she can't help.

So now I'm sitting with a phone that might explode still within my 7 days. But because the manager who is "a qualified technician" said I am lying and she can't help
