withholding even a 10c change can never be right.

I love shopping at pep, but find cashiers and managers alike see nothing wrong with shortchanging their customers. I often need to remind the cashiers that my is change 10- 20c short, their immediate response to that is that they do not have those coins in their tills. I would always ask for the manager, and in most cases the managers are friendly, apologetic and give me my change. Often times the cashiers are found to be lying, and have the coins in their till, yet deceive loyal customers all day long because its too much effort to give correct change or they benefit from it. Because not every customer is as change conscious as myself. Today i encountered a cashier Sindiswa and manager Niro. I requested my change, was fed the line and asked for the manager. The cashier spoke to Niro who went into her office brought a 10c coin out and threw it onto the counter at me. I was so shocked at her behavior and not wanting to cause a scene took my plastic and 10c, and left the store. I will not set foot in that store again. Pep managers and cashiers need to be trained on proper customer service and the deep level of deception behind giving incorrect and or shortchange.<br>
