Utterly disgusting staff!!!!

The staff of the PEP store opposite Woolworths Adderly street in Cape Town CBD is utterly disgusting!!! It was raining hard on Monday morning and an inconsiderate motorist splashed me by driving fast through a puddle. My socks and shoes were soaked. As I had a full day of work and meeting ahead, I decided to stop by PEP to purchase a pair of pumps and as pair of socks to wear for the day. I remembered that the store opened at 08:30 but when I arrived at 08:42 the stores doors were still closed. Another customer was there with me and she knocked on the door to ask the staff that were chatting inside(fully visible to us) if they were opening soon. The lady who eventually came to open the door had the most miserable look on her face. Her expression clearly read - do you people have to be here? I was really disgusted by her attitude but I needed to hurry as my first meeting started at 09:15. I quickly grabbed a pair of socks and then couldn't find my size of shoe so I decided to just get the socks and grin and bare the damp shoes. When I went to pay, I placed the socks Infront of the till that the same woman from the door was standing at and she snapped at me - come this side! And then walked to the last till. I didn't have time to argue so I went to the other till, gave her the product and then took out my purse to pay only to be rudely informed - I don't have change!. How can you open a store without any change for your customers? Was I expected to go find change and then come back and stand in the que to purchase my products? At this point I was so irritated that I just left before I lost my temper. I ended up down the street at a store with the most amazing lady on duty whom ended up selling me not only socks and shoes but another pair of slacks as she noticed that my pant legs were wet too. She also provided me with two shopping bags, one for my pants and another for my wet shoes. I ended up spending 10 times more money in here store. Pep should really train your staff better because the ones in Cape town have disgusting customer service! It's a store that I will never be going to again!!! Utterly disgusted!
