Too good to be working at PEP

<p>I would like to compliment the manager Thembikile on FANTASTIC service. In all the years I have been shopping at PEP, I have seldom found anyone to assist me, let alone with a smile on their face. I had sort of accepted that is what you get shopping at such a cost-conscious store. I asked one of the assistants yesterday what is the largest size boys school pants that they stock. She looked through about 5 pairs on the shelf, found a 38 and said 'try this' - you could tell from her manner that she had no clue. Needless to say, after searching myself, I found a 40 which fits my son perfectly! The manager saw me, came to assist, went through his stockroom and then the shelves himself trying to find more pairs to fit. What a fabulous, energetic man he is! When he establish we had the only 2 pairs, he took my details and promised to source more for me today. Again, being used to 'service' in South Africa, I doubted whether I would even hear from him. Imagine my surprise when at 9.30 this morning, my phone rang, and he had found 8 more pairs for me! This gentlemen is a total diamond in the rough.
