Theft on a daily basis in PEP

Previously when in the Pep store in the Shoprite Center in Pretoria North, my mother's cell phone was taken out of her hand bag. Fortunately my sister was with her, They received NO help what so ever from the Pep staff, including the managers. My sister closed the doors and would not let anybody out of the store with out getting the phone back. Luckily they did, after someone "picked it up". On Sunday, 03/06/18, my mother went to the store again as she is a regular customer there. Her purse was ****** out of her handbag, with all of her personal cards, ID documents etc. Again no help or assistance was received from the Pep staff or managers. When she reported the incident to the police, the officer informed her that this happened on a regular basis, and an "elder person was ****** on a daily basis at this store", and that they are "targeting older people in this store". I am now wondering if the unhelpful staff is part of the syndicate *****ing from the old.
