Theft in store

Pep home at Northgate is a shame Came to do my shopping there, while I was shopping with my big trolley and the baby inside the trolley and my pes, I left the trolley on the side of the aisle since they are very narrow, there was a pep employee who was playing with my child, when I was by the tills to pay my bag was no where to be found and and I asked for help from them to check on cameras the lady first said cameras are not working few seconds later she said they don't have cameras, and this is the lady that was playing with my child. When I asked for help to get my bag back they said they can't assist me because when I enter the store I enter at my own risk it's in their policy. When I ask how do they handle such cases where by a customer lose their stuff, she said they don't do anything and yes customers always lose their belongings there and they never ask the store for assistant I believe the staff ***** from customers and they always get away with it because they don't have cameras and they show you their policy that they can't help with theft.
